This beginner typing course is where students will learn about the keyboard, proper posture and typing techniques, and slowly memorize the placement of the keys on the keyboard. Our goal is for you to teach you to rely in your memorization of the key placement, so you don't have to rely on looking at your fingers to type.As with all new skills, this will take practice. There will be typing tests and daily homework. This class will run once a week, for 55 minutes, and meet for 12 weeks (following closely to the South Brunswick and/or Franklin Township school schedule). Days and dates are still being worked out. Class size is limited to eight students for more student/teacher interaction. Students must provide their own laptop.
Stay tuned for the winter class schedule. Remember there are no refunds for missing class and make-up dates are not included in the calendar. You must make every effort to attend at your scheduled time.
Each class will meet for 12 weekly sessions. Each session is 55 minutes in length and located at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 3330 Highway 27, Kendall Park, NJ 08824.
